Obituary

Alvin Rea Stevens was born July 17, 1986 in Clinton, Missouri to Bill and Teresa Stevens. He died September 11, 2022 from injuries sustained from a four wheeler accident at the age of 36.

Alvin grew up in the Lowry City and Deepwater area. He attended and graduated from Lakeland School in 2005. He spent several years living on Highway Z where he attended Mt. Zion Baptist Church. He was very active in Church and loved being there. He was saved and baptized at the age of 16.

In 2009 he moved to Osceola/Roscoe area to live and help his Aunt Patty and Uncle Hoggie. Over the years Patty became his advisor and caregiver. He became like a son to them and was a large part of all the family gatherings.

Alvin had a good heart and a love for people. He was always willing to help anyone anytime if he was able. He did in fact help many local farmers with their chores, whether it was feeding calves and horses, mowing and weed-eating, bucking hay or cutting wood. He was always cheerful. He enjoyed riding his four wheeler, playing pool and hanging out with his many friends. He loved to socialize and pull pranks on them.

Alvin had many friends and was a friend to many. He had a big heart and a loving personality. He was humble and kind. He will be greatly missed.

Alvin was preceded in death by his father Bill Stevens, grandparents: Alvin and Wanda Speight and Leon Stevens, and Diana King.

He is survived by his mother Teresa Stevens of Clinton, sister Cynthia (Josh) O'Connell of Edwards, special Aunt Patty and Uncle Hoggie (Jim) Terry, niece Lily Smith and nephew Rayne O'Connell. He also leaves many other Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and a host of friends.

Alvin is gone much to soon, but his memory will live on and he will not be forgotten.
