Anna Elizabeth Keeling, 86, passed away peacefully on October 22, 2026, at Truman Lake Manor at Lowry City, Missouri. She was born on January 17, 1940, in the farming community of Mulberry Grove, Illinois, to George Washington Elam and Edna Bertha Kleinik Elam. Anna was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great great-grandmother. Anna was former administrator of Truman Lake Manor in Lowry City, Mo. After retirement she continued working in multiple positions at the facility, Director of Nurses, and Charge Nurse. Anna completely retired in December of 2019 at the age of 79. Anna and her late husband Russell Keeling traveled together and saw most of the western United States as well as Mexico and the Caribbean. Anna’s favorite vacation place was the great state of Alaska. This is where she and Russell caught salmon and enjoyed many beautiful sunsets together.

Anna is survived by her children: Son Mark (Janette) Kumming of Pea Ridge, Arkansas; Son Keith (Teresa) Kumming of Cedar Creek, Mo.; Daughter Lisa (Stanley) Sievers of Jackson, Mo.; Stepdaughter Stephanie (Ken-deceased) Bergin of Lyle, Washington; Stepdaughter Stacey (Russell) Vanpay of Weatherford, Texas.

Anna was proceeded in death by her parents, her husband Russell, Sister Evelyn (Clarence) Hecht, Brother George “Junior” Elam; Nephew Brent Elam; Sister Doris Elam; Brother Ronnie Elam; and Brother Donnie (Deloris) Elam and Niece Sherri Elam.

Anna’s family takes great comfort knowing that in her final days she was surrounded by her former employees, fellow colleagues, and friends. The family thanks the staff of Truman Lake Manor and Compassus Hospice for their tender loving care and attention in the final weeks of her life. She remained in her community, which has been a great comfort to the surviving family.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be sent to the Activities Department of Truman Lake Manor in Lowry City, Missouri.
