Frank graduated from Greenwood High School in Springfield, Mo in 1943.  He graduated college in 1948 from Southwest Missouri State.  He was President of his class and member of Sigma Tau Gamma Fraternity.  He engaged in custom farming and long-distance trucking for about two years and was drafted into the U.S. Army for a short time. He received a medical discharge due to a childhood leg injury.  He then worked for the Boeing Company for the next twelve years, serving as a Quality Assurance Representative at subcontract facilities in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Maryland.  In 1963 he accepted a position as a Quality Engineer for McDonnell

Aircraft Company in St Louis, Missouri where he advanced into management and spent the next twenty-four years, retiring as the Manager of Quality Systems Engineering in April 1987.  Frank always loved farming and outdoor pursuits.  In 1954 he acquired the old Fred Davis farm that lay around the Love Cemetery near Cedar Springs.  He acquired other places in St Clair County along K Highway near Roscoe, Missouri.  He loved horses and raised several registered Appaloosas.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents, one infant brother, a sister, Wanda L. Hudson, two sons, Frank S. and Sean D.

He is survived by two sons, Joseph G. and Jeffery T., four grandchildren: Jessica Autumn, Johnathan Todd, Victoria Jane and Leah Braid (Simmons).
