Glenora "Allene" Reynolds went to see the Lord on July 4, 2019 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, MO.  Allene was born on November 26, 1941 in Sheldon, MO to Leo Alden Hobbs and Freda Susan Conley Hobbs.  She was united in marriage to Roger Wilson Reynolds on July 21, 1961.  They were blessed with five children.  Allene had a passion for writing, pursuing her love of the written word through her career as a reporter as well as the articles and short stories published in national magazines.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter Susan Green, and a sister.  She is survived by her husband of the home, Roger Reynolds of Jerico Springs, one son Todd Reyonlds of Jerico Springs, three daughters Tammy Milburn and Bryan Milburn of Bolivar, Shelly Maphies and Larry Maphies of Jerico Springs and Sheila Reynolds of Jerico Springs, her brother Leo Hobbs and Grace Hobbs of Kansas City, 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
