Patricia Ann (Boan) Spurgeon was born July 12, 1939, in Kansas City, Missouri to Charles (Chuck) A. Boan and Mary A. Boan. She passed away May 19, 2023, at Truman Lake Manor in Lowry City, Missouri.

Pat married Tommy K. Spurgeon on November 29, 1959. She worked many jobs from dry cleaning in Kansas City, sewing uniforms in Clinton, shoes in Windsor, Truman Lake Manor, and Lakeland School. However, her favorite and most important role was being a housewife and mother.

Pat and Tom loved going to the Lake of the Ozarks, skiing and boating, fishing and being outdoors. She enjoyed planning the family reunions for both the Spurgeons and the Boans. She worked on the Deepwater Picnic for many years.

She was preceded in death by her son Thomas Gerald, her parents, two brothers, one sister, and her husband of 63 years Tom.

Pat is survived by one brother, two sisters, son Robert St. George and wife Nancy and son William Keith Spurgeon, two granddaughters: April Burrows and her husband Levi, Stephani Cox and her husband Matthew, three great grandchildren: Victoria Burrows, Robert Burrows, and Barrett Cox as well as many friends.

The family suggest memorial contributions to Peaceful Home Cemetery in care of the Sheldon-Goodrich Funeral Home.
